[La.solidarity] 12/12 Port Shut Down Action

Hi folks,

Just got back from the OccupyLongBeach Port Shut Down meeting.

There's not much in the way of news:

-Meet at Harry Bridges Park at 5:00am (this is the closest public parking lot to the action site).

-We will then march 1.25 miles to the berth we are trying to shut down.

-If we have enough people (more than a few hundred) we may do additional locations.

The action is seen as a step towards escalating toward a May 1, 2012 General Strike, and this action is seen as a first step.

The IWW (and friends!) affinity group will meet up and prepare at 5:00am at Harry Bridges Park with the rest of the crowd.
